No man’s sky

For thousands of years, people have looked up into the sky.

Space is perhaps the last unexplored land we can still dream of. And yet this distant cosmos has never been as closely interwoven with our bodies and perceptions as it is today: companies are already planning to mine extraterrestrial resources, our cell phones send signals to satellites in space every second.

But can space still be a new place of hope in our depleted world? Can we break the dynamic of plunder and exploitation and develop alternative narratives for our inevitable encounter with space? In a walk-through stage set of lights and loudspeakers, the audience is invited to let themselves drift.

No Man’s Sky is a science fiction journey of the mind, a space-time altering, imaginary concert that is both spaceship and lullaby.
